Everything was excellent, including caring staff on the reception desk. The restaurant was magnificent for dinner, I tried delicious dishes. The location was marvellous, not too far from War Memorial. It was located in a quiet area. The hotel met requirements, I will be back.

Location. Tunbridge Wells hotels were fully booked the weekend I wanted to visit. This hotel is only a 15 minute drive away near Pembury.
The staff were utterly unqualified for such a prestigious chain hotel. Rude receptionist, slow and incompetent breakfast assistants, invisible management and everyone looking and communicating like work experience students. Expensive as you might expect of a Ramada or Marriot but lacking in every ounce of quality you get for your money elsewhere. Poorly cooked food, basic rooms, terrible customer service, satisfactory pool, nondescript grounds, understocked bar, shabby decor in public areas, limited range of audio/visual channels etc. There was nowhere to facilitate the storage of a bike and no interest on the part of the receptionist to attempt to solve the predicament. The hotel seemed far more interested in a wedding booking than their premium rate paying guests. Abysmal.

The pool area including jaquzzi, sauna and steam room was really good, better than many other hotels I have stayed in that had more stars.
The location is not great, a bit out of the way with but a good base to go out to places from. I would say though that food and drink are very expensive. We didnt eat at the hotel because of this and even the bar was expensive.

IT was ideally situated for our needs. The staff were all most helpful and worked very hard, under difficult circumstances, to ensure that the needs of the guests were attended to. I felt very sorry that some of the guests were rather impatient and seemed to expect the staff to be mind readers. We were completely satisfied, although we didn't appreciate the noise from the party on the friday evening!

The location offers a peaceful atmosphere with well-maintained gardens that's perfect for a stroll after a long day. The room itself had a generous size, and the availability of a fan helped in the warm weather.
The bathroom requires an upgrade, with fixtures that feel outdated and an overall look that's past its prime. Some furniture looked worn and chipped, and I struggled to lock the bedroom window. Noise carried quite a bit from the hallways and adjacent rooms during the night-a bit disruptive for a good night's sleep. Added to that, I found long black hairs on the shower walls, quite off-putting. Breakfast could use improvement as well. I encountered cold hot items and found the breakfast room needing a bit more cleaning attention.

The room was okay, comfy beds and clean enough. Had a bit of a musty smell at first. Could definitely use some updates, especially the decor. The bathroom had some issues, like bad water drainage. It was decent for a night or two if you're not too picky.

Good Experience with Really good Service!
Our family spent a night here, enjoying a spacious Classic Family Room. The staff were friendly, especially our waiter were very good. The breakfast was good, but I wish the evening meal had more flavor. Don't miss the really good breakfast options!

It's in a good position for access to many National Trust properties and for quick rail transport into London
Breakfast was £10.00 buffet - no cheaper 'continental' option

Freindly and helpful receptionist.
This hotel at £139 for a couple sharing a double room for one night was not good value. It was even worse value when I discovered that breakfast would be another £15 each.It seems to me tha beciase I booked the room realtivley late the hotel is profiteering. This certainly does not make me feel like staying there again.

A good hotel in a good location for visiting family in Tunbridge Wells. Easy access when traveling from the north and convenient parking at the hotel. The leisure complex is a bonus and hotel rates are reasonable.
The breakfast is very expensive and not of very good quality.
